agreed if you choose to play with them, and not distance yourself away from a hacker, even if they are a subscriber, then that’s on you, and you get the consequences coming.

You gotta remember, they can just create free accounts and cheat again. they need to implement an account system of some sort, or like an IP ban.

Sometimes when I place a key lock, it disappears, and it doesn’t show up for me so I have to rejoin. Once I rejoin, it’s there and I lock it. it happens 80% of the time when I place locks, and to counter it, I instantly look away for a second and it seems to work. I hope it can be fixed, because during the time you’re restarting, people can infiltrate your base. - peenerweener

I’m pretty sure they are Russian, and since the economy in Russia is currently getting fucked in the ass by sanctions, they have bigger things to worry about than oxide.

Catsbit, we need communication. we have heard absolutely nothing in regards to the update, or what will be in it. Hackers still ravage the servers almost every single day, and people are quitting oxide because of it. we need replies, we need communication. it doesn’t have to be an update announcement or anything like that, just talk to us to make sure you haven’t abandoned us

This is actually false. there are a ton of community-made oxide discord servers around the forum (including mine: https://discord.gg/YjaVXPCG ). You just have to look. - peenerweener

What big thing is getting the update delayed? we have had almost no communication in regards to the update.

I agree. I think a better anti cheat system should be implemented before a combat logging system. The amount of hackers is ridiculous.

Hey, Peenerweener again. update or not, we need to get another wipe. Hackers are ravaging servers with their pre-crafted and researched weapons, and there is a ton of clans with everything researched taking over servers and not even letting noobs start out their journey. Not to mention, the servers are starting to lag a lot too. A wipe would give everyone a fair chance again. - peenerweener
